Tom Stamm is the Executive Vice President and Program Manager for both our Construction Division, Fuel Oil/Energy Dealers Division and Real Estate Division while also managing a large book of construction and real estate clients. He has been responsible for establishing our mentoring program which has benefited many associates within the organization.
Tom began his career with Insurance Network Services in May of 1985 as a Customer Service Representative in both Personal and Commercial Lines. After earning his Property & Casualty Insurance license in 1986, he became a Sales Representative. Since then has been involved in the development and overseeing of the Real Estate Program for Property Owners & Managers and its implementation of “Risk Transfer Audits/Contract Audits” between Property Owners and their Tenants. In this process he has provided both individual risk and group customer training seminars in areas of NY Labor Law concerns by examining what risk reduction strategies are needed and providing tools necessary to monitor. In addition, he heads up the Construction Division for the agency and assists with similar client risk transfer programs through “Contract Audits and Certificate Tracking” systems.
Tom has earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 2002 and has bachelor’s degree in Business Economics. Currently he is working on the designation of Associate Risk Manager (ARM).
He has been a longtime resident of Sayville with his wife and two children and an active member of the local community. Tom coached both hockey and soccer within his community and is an avid golfer on the weekends.

Tina Heaney started her career in the insurance industry with the Cotgreave Ins Agency in 1989. She began as a personal lines customer service trainee and has advanced her career within the Agency to the current position of Office Manager. Obtaining her broker’s license in 1991, she has built and maintains a Property and Casualty book of business at Cotgreave Ins Agency in addition to being the office Manager. Tina lives in Suffolk County with her husband and two children.

Phil Curcio comes to the Cotgreave Insurance Agency by way of his private law practice and his public sector position with U.S. Congressman and former N.Y. State Senator Lee Zeldin. As Area Vice President and In-House Counsel, Phil’s presence at the Cotgreave Agency adds yet another dimension of professional service and reliability to Cotgreave’s already impeccable forty year record of client service and satisfaction. Having practiced as both a litigator and a transnational attorney, Phil’s broad-based legal experience is a resource for clients and agency staff. His understanding of liability enables him to act as a trusted adviser for businesses on Long Island.
Phil’s life experience and formal education make him a natural for maritime risk concerns in particular. He grew up working as a deckhand in the local fishing fleet, and now holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Vessel Master’s Certificate, remaining active part-time as a charter boat captain during the regular season. In addition, his law practice has represented both private and commercial vessel owners as well as marine related businesses. As a result, he has accumulated a wealth of expertise in the maritime field, and he maintains close relationships with many commercial captains, vessel owners and industry leaders.
Phil earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1995. He received his Juris Doctor in 1998, graduating Cum Laude from University of Maine School of Law with a concentration in Ocean & Coastal Law and Admiralty Law, while serving as Managing Editor for two editions of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal. Following law school, he took a position as an adjuster for a maritime insurance company. He then returned to his native Long Island, where he began his own private law practice.

Lynn Ericson has been in the insurance industry for 25+ years. She joined the Cotgreave Insurance Agency in 2004 and specializes in commercial property and casualty insurance coverage. Lynn earned her CPCU designation in 1997, the highest designation in the industry. She has extensive coverage knowledge and experience as a broker and risk manager. She is married with two daughters and lives in Suffolk County.

Peter Mondrick is a successful insurance professional with 35 years of diverse experience in the insurance industry including independent agency ownership, insurance consultant, design and implementation of insurance marketing plans, Certified Insurance Counselor, Sales Manager, Series 6 and 63 Securities Rep, and Field Sales. Commercial Lines Manager

Laura Scherer has had a 40 year career working in insurance agencies on Long Island. As a licensed insurance broker, she has focused on commercial property and casualty accounts. Shortly after joining Cotgreave Insurance in 2011 in the marketing department Laura became the Commercial Lines Manager. She and her husband have two daughters and two granddaughters and live in Wading River.
Personal Lines Manager

Lisa Curra started her insurance career 15 years ago with an auto insurance carrier which prompted her interest in becoming licensed in Property and Causality Insurance. After three years in the industry she joined Cotgreave Insurance as a customer service representative and was later promoted to Personal Lines Manager and oversees all of the Marketing for the department as well. A native Long Islander, Lisa received her MA in counseling from C.W Post University. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys giving back to her community at a crisis hotline as well as teaching English as a second language and spending time with her husband and two dogs camping across Long Island.
